White oak, 5 inch, natural
A new build on the Saugatuck shore. We installed 2,400 square feet of rift-sawn white oak with a hardwax oil finish that holds up to sand and salt.

Red oak, stained walnut
Original 1970s red oak under thirty years of finish. We sanded to bare wood, stained walnut, and sealed with three coats of water-based polyurethane.

White oak, site-finished
A dishwasher leak buckled fourteen boards. We matched the stock, wove in new oak, and screened the whole room so the repair disappeared.

A formal entry in a 1920s colonial. Hand-nailed herringbone with a walnut border, sanded and finished in place for a seamless field.

Maple, natural matte
A worn kitchen floor in hard maple. We sanded out the stains, repaired two boards near the sink, and sealed with a matte hardwax oil.

Carpeted stairs stripped to the stringers. New white oak treads, painted risers, and a continuous handrail matched to the hall floor.
